SPANISH Account Manager/Support Monkey

Job description

Solar Monkey is expanding to Spain! After conquering the Dutch and Belgian Solar market, we are making our first steps and have our first customers in Spain. Therefore, we need someone to onboard our new Spanish customers, give them (online) training, and help them get the most out of our software. 

Do you have experience with Account management or Technical Support, and do you speak Spanish fluently? Then we have a cool job for you!

Account manager/Support Monkey has multiple tasks. Since Spain is still a growth market for us, you will be doing many things that usually fall under different jobs. You will be responsible for the onboarding of new clients, setting up their accounts according to their wishes, But you will also deliver a lot of day to day support via our in-app chat function.

About Solar Monkey:

At Solar Monkey, our goal is to enable solar to be the world’s leading power supply, and we accomplish that with software that makes solar power systems more affordable, secure, and reliable. We do so in a very open and warm environment, where everybody can have his or her say on company values, structure, and policies.

Our main product is our design software, where our users can quickly design all kinds of solar panel systems, and get a highly accurate yield calculation. We base our predictions on climate data, system specifications, and advanced shadow analysis. Our customers are installers who use our software to make fast calculations on what the yield will be for a specific system. This helps them sell solar panels to consumers. This year we are starting up our Spanish version of the app, which means Spanish installers can now use our software as well!

Solar Monkey currently consists of 22 full-timers; half of them is a software developer; the other half of the people are doing sales, support, or operations. We always have a couple of awesome interns. We have the intention and capital to more than double that in a year, so that is where you come in!

Job requirements

  • You have experience as an account manager.
  • You are a bit of a technical nerd, and you like to explain things to other people.
  • You are good at analyzing problems.
  • You have outstanding communication skills. Spanish and English are required. Dutch is nice to have.
  • You do not need to know something about solar panels; we can teach you almost anything you need to know.
